Role Description
This role involves managing endpoint software and hardware lifecycles, ensuring system integrity, and supporting the organization's IT infrastructure.

Creates, deploys, and manages automated desktop software updates/deployments according to the change management process.

Maintains the base image of all endpoints (software updates, security patches, and driver updates).

Ivanti Imaging experience desired.

Assists with creating, modifying, and managing Group Policies.

Manages the deployment of monthly patches to all endpoints and reports weekly on status.

Assists in managing, monitoring, controlling, and reporting on software and hardware lifecycles.

Manages endpoint hardening standards within company standards.

Manages endpoint encryption.

Advanced troubleshooting and analysis of endpoint behavior including hardware, drivers, BIOS, operating system, productivity software, browsers, and local and group policy.

Completes assigned support tickets.

Performs routine system or user administrative tasks such as system specification changes or the addition, change, or deletion of employees on the company's various systems and networks.

Ensures necessary documentation is attained and properly authorized for such requests.

Originates and maintains system and user files.

Participates as a member of the company's incident response team in the event of a technology emergency or breach in confidential information.

Works with vendors and various outside professional information technology organizations in the maintenance and purchase of endpoint equipment, software, and accessories.

Assists in special projects and tasks for the department under the direction of management.

Responds to inquiries and refers issues to the appropriate department or person and exhibits the necessary follow-through with customers and/or staff involved.

Maintains basic knowledge and awareness of personal computing industry technical status and trends.

Prepares a variety of routine and special reports as required.

Qualifications
-
Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from a 4-year college or technical trade school and a minimum of 5 years related experience and/or training.

Work-related experience should consist of a technical background in information resources, products, or services.

Bachelor's Degree preferred.

2-3 years of experience configuring and using Ivanti Endpoint Management or Microsoft Intune/Autopilot for software deployment, patch management, and imaging.
Requirements
-
Experience with on-prem Microsoft Active Directory and AD Group Policies.

Experience with Azure AD/EntraID in a hybrid or fully online deployment and the use of Security Templates.
-
Experience with Microsoft Intune/Autopilot and/or Ivanti Neurons/MobileIron MDM.
-
Advanced skills in data communications, troubleshooting techniques, user and software support including but not limited to desktop applications and network administration.

Advanced skills in personal computer operation; Microsoft Office 365 applications including but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Outlook.

Experience with Microsoft 365 Admin Center including the assignment and management of M365/O365 licensing.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams Admin Center and OneDrive.

Experience, knowledge, and training in information technology department operations.

Effective organizational and time management skills.

Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions, interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence, and speak clearly to customers and employees.

Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology.

Ability to work with general supervision while performing duties.

Experience managing Cisco Umbrella.
