[Hiring] Senior Consultant – Identity and Access Management @World Wide Technology

Role Description

The Senior Consultant, IAM is a technically strong individual contributor who owns defined delivery tasks and workstream components within WWT's Identity and Access Management practice. Positioned below the Lead Consultant, the Senior Consultant brings hands-on depth across IAM platforms and domains, executes high-quality client deliverables with growing independence, and begins developing trusted client relationships at the working level.

The Senior Consultant is the engine of IAM delivery, leading technical assessments, configuring and validating IAM platforms, facilitating discovery sessions, and producing the analytical outputs that underpin client recommendations. They work under the direction of a Lead Consultant or Senior Manager, and are expected to grow steadily toward owning full workstreams and contributing to pre-sales activities.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in cybersecurity or enterprise IT with a clear focus on Identity and Access Management; must include hands-on implementation or operational experience with at least two IAM platform categories (IGA, PAM, or Access Management)
• Hands-on technical experience across IAM platforms and domains, including one or more of:
  • IGA — SailPoint IdentityNow/IdentityIQ, Saviynt, Omada, or One Identity
  • PAM — CyberArk (Core PAS, EPM), BeyondTrust (Password Safe, Privilege Management), or Delinea/Thycotic
  • Access Management — Okta, Ping Identity, Microsoft Entra ID, or ForgeRock
  • Cloud Identity — AWS IAM, Azure Entra ID, GCP IAM
  • Directory Services — Active Directory administration, Entra ID
• Working knowledge of IAM and security frameworks: NIST SP 800-53, NIST CSF 2.0, NIST SP 800-207, ISO 27001/27002, MITRE ATT&CK, SOX ITGC, HIPAA, PCI DSS
• Understanding of core identity concepts: joiner-mover-leaver lifecycle, least privilege, separation of duties, privileged access management, zero-trust identity
• Demonstrated consulting delivery competencies, including:
  • Structured discovery
  • Gap analysis
  • Technical communication
  • Workshop facilitation
  • Deliverable quality
  • Engagement collaboration

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (preferred)
• Industry certifications demonstrating IAM knowledge: CISSP, CISM, CISA, Security+, or equivalent
• Experience in enterprise environments across financial services, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, or public sector
• Prior consulting experience at a professional services firm, systems integrator, or equivalent client-facing advisory role
• Familiarity with pre-sales processes: SOW development, effort estimation, or proposal support
