Role Description

Senior Business Systems Analyst role in dynamic, energetic, complex but rewardingly challenging, high-value, highly visible, fast-paced environment.

• Subject Matter Expert in Workday HCM Core, Benefits, Absence, & Compensation.
• Strong understanding of employee data and analytics supporting employee transformation/mapping through integration or M&A efforts.
• Responsible for solutions analysis, design, configuration & delivery.
• Includes business process re-engineering, system fit/gap analysis, and documentation.
• Driving customer enablement and transforming manager & employee experiences.
• Enabling transformative operational excellence.
• Security and reporting expertise, including complex calculated fields.
• Experience in building & maintaining HR eco-system integrations using report-based reporting and Web Services/API.
• Knowledge of HR processes is essential; Warehouse, Retail, and/or Union workforce experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills using visualization tools like PowerPoint and Visio.
• Ability to elicit business requirements & translate them into system requirements.
• Innovative, “out of the box” problem solver with a proven track record.
• Knowledgeable about common HR use cases and typical end-user challenges.
• Resourceful in tracking Workday's roadmap capabilities.
• Detail & action-oriented with strong consultative nature.
• Excellent communicator with different organizational levels and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst (or similar role) within HR functional areas.
• Experience implementing, supporting, and configuring HR processes (Core HCM, Benefits, Absence, Compensation).
• Workday Security experience.
• Workday Reporting & Report-based and/or API Integration experience.
• Workday EIB experience.
• Exemplary communication skills with a keen awareness for elevating issues & risks.
• Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities.

Requirements

• End to end implementation experience including project, enhancement, and/or issue management.
• Communication and change management skills.

Desired Skills

• HR M&A experience.
• Workday integration experience.
• Workday Certifications.
• Experience with Visio for creating/documenting visual diagrams.
• Project Management and/or WBS experience.
