[Hiring] Senior Business Analyst - Procurement @NOV Inc.

Role Description

Sr. Business Analyst - Procurement needed by National Oilwell Varco, L.P. in Houston, Texas [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may telecommute/work from home] to provide Oracle Cloud Functional design solution for the Procurement Streams.

• Configure and support the Oracle Cloud Procurement system with a global footprint and complex system.
• Lead in troubleshooting and analyzing production issues, including documentation of the root cause and configuration changes required to resolve.
• Lead efforts for new implementations, enhancements, and production support.
• Collaborate with core business partners to identify efficiencies in existing processes utilizing system configurations and automation.
• Create service requests with Oracle and work with developers, DBAs, and Oracle to resolution.
• Develop solutions to leverage Oracle applications functionality for the Oracle Supply Chain Suite of Modules.
• Interpret and convert data based on business requirements and shepherd the data for delivery.
• Work with existing systems to track and manage issues and enhancement opportunities.
• Create test plans, test cases, and test scripts and perform functional testing.
• Understand and modify the Application Configuration as required (includes system setups, flexfields, profile options, etc.).
• Conduct user sessions for requirements and testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
• Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience in a related occupation implementing Oracle R12/Cloud ERP.
• Using life cycle Oracle R12/Oracle Cloud Fusion Projects implementations as a Functional Solution Architect or Functional Lead.
• Utilizing client facing experience, including leading assessments, demos, client pre-sales, solution architecture, functional solution design.
