Role Description

At PwC, our people in sustainability focus on integrating environmental, social, economic, and governance considerations into business strategies and operations. They provide guidance and support to organisations by managing sustainability risks, identifying opportunities, and driving positive social and environmental impact.

In climate and energy at PwC, you will focus on providing consulting services related to climate change mitigation and adaptation, as well as energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions. You will analyse client needs, develop strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and offer guidance and support to help clients transition to a low-carbon economy.

Responsibilities

• Preparing deliverables (which could be reports, presentations, financial models etc.) as per the consulting engagement requirements adhering to the quality standards and engagement timelines.
• Contribute to business development activities including preparation of business proposals, response to RFPs/ RFQs, presentation decks etc.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and thought leadership papers or other marketing assets.
• Work collaboratively with other team colleagues collectively to deliver complex consulting engagements.

Qualifications

• Maximum work experience of 2 years in a fast pace environment.
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data into easily understood and actionable information, including charts/ graphs.
• Excellent workflow management and task organization skills; ability to anticipate and take responsibility for all aspects of coordination of the workflow of assigned responsibilities.
• Strong skills in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Presentation).
• Strong ability to work with and coordinate among diverse teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Readiness to travel at short notice as well as relocate based on requirements of the consulting engagements.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactivity to provide appropriate recommendations to address identified challenges.
• Demonstrated ability to work flexibly on a range of assignments, adjust to changes in schedule and priorities, juggle concurrent yet disparate tasks effectively and efficiently, and work with very tight deadlines.

Requirements

• Fluent in English and Hindi, any other local language.
• Mandatory skill sets: power sector, battery.
• Preferred skill sets: consulting.
• Years of experience required: 5-7 years.
• Education qualification: Master’s degree in Business Administration (PGDM/ PGDBA/ MBA), with a background in Engineering (B.E./ B. Tech.)/ Accounting (Chartered Accountants)/ Economics.
• Degrees/Field of Study required: MBA (Master of Business Administration), Bachelor of Technology.
