[Hiring] Senior Analyst, Procurement - Buyer @RTX

Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Procurement - Buyer to join our Air and Space Defense Systems (ASDS) Mechanical Procurement team. This role is responsible for preparing purchase orders and support documentation in compliance with departmental policies and FAR/DFAR/ITAR regulations. Key duties include:

• Issuing POs across multiple programs
• Managing all phases of procurement (from development through closeout)
• Ensuring supplier delivery commitments align with program schedules
• Submitting compliant RFQs
• Performing price analyses and negotiating for fair pricing
• Supporting proposals by requesting, analyzing, and evaluating supplier quotations
• Participating in program and supplier reviews, as well as continuous improvement initiatives
• Building and maintaining professional relationships with Customers and Suppliers
• Assisting team members with procurement activities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Utilizing advanced Excel skills to efficiently manage large data sets and requisition lines
• Demonstrating strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle parallel program activities

This role offers a dynamic environment where you’ll contribute to strategic initiatives while ensuring procurement effectiveness and compliance. This role is remote.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field
• Two years of prior Buying Experience
• Knowledge of government regulations (FAR/DFAR/ITAR/CUI)
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Requirements

• Ability to work closely with internal customers (Operations, PM, Engineering, Quality, etc.)
• Support Raytheon’s initiatives and KPI’s such as Supplier OTD, Cost Savings, and Continuous Improvement events
• Adherence to Supply Chain processes, standards, and operational plans in support of procurement goals
• Experienced in SAP, Excel, Word
• Domestic Travel may be required 10%
