[Hiring] Security Senior Solution Architect @Ensono

Role Description

The Security Senior Solution Architect leverages knowledge of security architecture to document, shape, and direct the technology roadmap for Ensono and for our clients. You will work directly with senior executives and leadership to identify and address technology gaps, strategic goals, and business imperatives impacted by infrastructure technologies. In this role, you'll suggest new technologies or new approaches to achieve business goals and develop methodologies to integrate technology innovation with existing governance and enterprise architecture processes.

As a Security Senior Solution Architect, you will:

• Provide fully-costed solution architecture to meet client and prospective client requests.
• Maintain and update documentation related to organization-wide IT activities and technology roadmaps.
• Communicate progress and direction through formal presentations, collaborative meetings, and content publishing to mixed audiences.
• Support new business opportunities including pre-sales support, architecture, and design support.
• Lead implementation of Ensono solutions and/or manage complex change that significantly impacts existing solutions.
• Ensure individualized solutions incorporate clients' and Ensono's overall business strategy and technical vision.
• Serve as the technical lead in all solution communications with clients and oversee progress throughout the implementation phase.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent work experience (10+ years of relevant experience may substitute for degree).
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in information security, security architecture, or related roles.
• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise security solutions across hybrid environments (mainframe, midrange, cloud).
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, or equivalent security certifications.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, Zero Trust).
• Experience with security technologies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection, identity and access management (IAM), and encryption.
• Demonstrated experience with cloud security across AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of network security, application security, and data protection principles.
• Experience presenting to and advising C-level executives and senior leadership on security strategy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
• Experience with pre-sales activities, solution design, and cost estimation for security implementations.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field (bonus qualification).
• Cloud security certifications (AWS Certified Security Specialty, Microsoft Azure Security Engineer, Google Cloud Professional Security Engineer) (bonus qualification).
• TOGAF or similar enterprise architecture certification (bonus qualification).
• Experience with DevSecOps practices and security automation tools (bonus qualification).
• An understanding of how AI-Enabled attacks are changing security in today’s IT environments (Mainframe, Midrange, X86 and cloud) (bonus qualification).
• Knowledge of compliance requirements for regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, government) (bonus qualification).
• Experience with security assessment and penetration testing methodologies (bonus qualification).
• Familiarity with mainframe security (RACF, ACF2, Top Secret) and legacy system security (bonus qualification).
• Experience with security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR) platforms (bonus qualification).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar project management certification (bonus qualification).
• Experience with vulnerability management and security operations center (SOC) operations (bonus qualification).
• Knowledge of threat intelligence and incident response procedures (bonus qualification).
