Role Description

ASRC NetCentric is seeking a Security Engineer to support a DHS program.

Work location: Remote

Clearance: Public Trust

The DHS Program will provide professional services to support:

  • Application analysis
  • Architectural design
  • Engineering
  • Development
  • Maintenance and support

Work includes implementation of:

  • Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement
  • Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Flow, and Power Business Intelligence)
  • SharePoint
  • Office 365
  • Azure products and Services
  • Dataverse
  • Drupal
  • Confluence
  • Jira
  • ServiceNow

The Security Engineer will secure solutions across:

  • Cloud
  • Data centers
  • Networks
  • Applications

Responsibilities include:

  • Understanding of the DHS security engineering experience.
  • Certifications and direct applicable experience in CEH, Amazon, Microsoft, Linux, and Cloud.
  • Direct DHS experience engineering and integrating secure solutions in cloud, data centers, networks, applications using Linux, Windows, identity solutions, databases, firewalls, and network appliances.
  • Experience with Information Assurance Compliance tools (XACT, TAF, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Federal Government Authorization processes (NIST 800-53, DHS 4300A, DIACAP).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in application security engineering support.
  • US Citizen and ability to successfully complete a government-issued background investigation.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust. Prior Public Trust or Security Clearance preferred.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities; able to turn ambiguous requirements into actionable plans.
  • Experience working in a highly technical environment; well versed in the current state of Information Security and able to interpret security requirements of relevant governing bodies (NIST, OMB, DHS, etc.).
