Role Description

The Scientific Advisor provides scientific expertise and consulting services to support Sales, Marketing, and Science Services delivery within a clinical trial technology organization. The role focuses on guiding the design and implementation of electronic data collection solutions by translating clinical, regulatory, and scientific requirements into effective study strategies.

Working cross-functionally, the Scientific Advisor:

• Reviews trial protocols and designs data collection approaches aligned with best practices.
• Contributes to proposals, bid defenses, and client presentations.
• Supports clients throughout the study lifecycle, ensuring scientific rigor and alignment with their needs.
• Contributes to product development, marketing initiatives, and thought leadership.
• Maintains current knowledge of industry regulations and scientific advancements.

As a member of a team of accomplished scientists, clinicians, and data analysts, the Scientific Advisor plays a critical role in supporting the growth and delivery of innovative clinical trial technologies and scientific solutions.

Qualifications

• PhD in a scientific discipline preferred; Master’s degree considered for highly qualified candidates.
• 0–3 years of experience in clinical trial technology, life sciences, biopharmaceutical development, or a related industry.
• Experience supporting clinical trials and understanding the drug development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of electronic clinical outcome assessment (eCOA), clinical trial technologies, or related digital health solutions.
• Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage scientific, clinical, and business stakeholders.
• Ability to translate complex scientific concepts into customer-focused solutions.
• Demonstrated business acumen and customer-facing experience in pre-sales, post-sales, or scientific consulting environments.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and global environment.
• Willingness to continuously learn, adapt, and contribute across functions.
