Role Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Consultant to design, implement, and support SAP Master Data Governance solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP MDG, master data management processes, data governance frameworks, workflow configuration, and integration with SAP ECC/S4HANA systems.

• Design, configure, and implement SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions.
• Gather and analyze business requirements related to master data management and governance.
• Configure SAP MDG for Customer, Vendor, Material, Business Partner, Financial, and Custom Objects.
• Develop and maintain data governance processes, workflows, validations, and business rules.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data quality standards and governance policies.
• Implement data replication and synchronization between SAP MDG and downstream systems.
• Support data migration, cleansing, enrichment, and consolidation activities.
• Configure Change Request types, Data Models, BRF+, UI configurations, and workflow processes.
• Integrate SAP MDG with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, SAP Data Services, and third-party applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve MDG-related issues during implementation and production support.
• Participate in testing, deployment, training, and documentation activities.
• Ensure compliance with data governance standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of SAP experience with at least 3+ years in SAP MDG implementation/support projects.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • SAP MDG-M (Material)
  • SAP MDG-S (Supplier/Vendor)
  • SAP MDG-C (Customer)
  • SAP Business Partner
• Strong knowledge of:
  • SAP S/4HANA
  • SAP ECC
  • Data Governance & Data Quality concepts
  • BRF+ Rules Framework
  • Workflow Configuration
  • Data Replication Framework (DRF)
• Experience in data migration and master data management processes.
• Ability to collaborate with functional and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP ABAP, Fiori, CDS Views, or SAP BTP.
• Knowledge of SAP Data Services and Information Steward.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• SAP MDG Certification is highly preferred.
• Exposure to multi-domain MDG implementations.
