[Hiring] S/4 HANA Business Analyst – Quality Management @RTX

Role Description

RTX has an opening for a S/4 HANA Business Analyst - Quality Management with a focus on material master, quality information record, defect quality record, and corrective & preventative action.

The ERP Business Analyst – Plan to Sustain team is responsible for the successful delivery within each phase of the program:

• Blueprint: Detailed design for processes, utilizing best practices and maximizing process harmonization opportunities; evaluation of gaps and making scope decisions.
• Build: Collaborate with an integrated team of external resources and internal RTX team members in the configuration and development of system capabilities.
• Testing: Support the creation and execution of test scenarios and scripts; work alongside business leaders and testers to ensure proper functionality and defect resolution.
• Cutover & Hypercare: Support successful migration from legacy systems to new environments. Support go-live and the continuation of RTX business’ financial and operational performance.

You are the ideal candidate if you have experience working within an organization that is responsible for driving large, complex programs and projects related to business process and system transformation using SAP’s S/4HANA solution for the Quality module with a focus on supplier quality.

What You Will Do:

• Gather and understand requirements from various Business Units (BUs) to standardize functionalities across the organization.
• Collaborate with BUs to align quality processes and promote standardization across systems.
• Possess deep expertise in SAP Quality Management functionalities, including inspection types, plans, MIC's quality notifications, certificates.
• Demonstrate strong experience in SAP module integration, particularly with Logistics, Production Execution, and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
• Configure and manage SAP systems to support quality processes effectively.
• Assist both the data team and process teams in data mapping, validation, and testing activities.
• Provide dedicated support to supplier quality processes and work closely with Source-to-Pay (S2P) and plant maintenance integrated teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including BU teams, vendors, and SAP consultants to ensure seamless support and implementation.
• Deliver functional specifications for enhancements, integrations, data conversion programs, reports, and workflows as needed.
• Support the creation of new and innovative solutions to support digital and business strategies.
• Document common solutions, including configuration documents, process flows, and data policies.
• Mentor less experienced team members in specific areas of the Plan to Sustain business process hierarchy.
• Ensure that RTX is positioned for future success within all functional areas of Plan to Sustain.
• Travel 25-35%.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
• Experience configuring and supporting SAP ERP along with the integration of the Manufacturing Execution System/Supplier portal in terms of source inspection and quality notification processing.
• Technical hands-on domain experience across SAP Quality Management including material master, quality information record, defect quality record, and corrective & preventative action.

Requirements

• Experience working on large, complex A&D enterprise projects -- or similarly regulated, large organization.
