[Hiring] Risk Analyst, Global Resilience / Business Continuity @WEX

Role Description

WEX Inc is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional to join our growing Global Resilience team. As a Global Resilience Analyst, you will report to and collaborate with the Senior Manager of Global Resilience to analyze and identify areas of risk, ensuring robust business continuity is in place for successful outcomes. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and driving Operational Resilience in a fast-moving, changing Fintech environment.

Requirements

• Lead and conduct comprehensive Business Impact Analysis (BIA) interviews across various departments to determine critical recovery requirements.
• Work directly with business units to develop, document, and maintain recovery plans and manual/off-line procedures where required.
• Facilitate professional workshops and provide training sessions to educate stakeholders and drive engagement with resilience programs.
• Support the Senior Manager's efforts to streamline processes for operational resilience between technology groups and business units.
• Partner with technology teams for the testing and reporting on the results.
• Maintain knowledge of business-critical applications, system platforms, and technical infrastructure similar to payment processing platforms which supports business continuity.
• Proven track record of designing and conducting risk-based tabletop exercises that simulate realistic disruption scenarios.
• Write detailed post-exercise reports and provide actionable remediation strategies where gaps are identified.
• Utilize agreed-upon metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of program outcomes following testing activities.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of Global Resilience frameworks, specifically Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and FCA and CBI requirements for Operational Resilience (OpRes), and FDIC regulatory requirements concerning resilience and risk management.
• Maintain the Mapping Exercise for DORA and the Self Assessment for OpRes.
