YDay - Block is hiring a remote Revenue Content Governance Manager. 💸 Salary: usd 76,200 - 152,300 per year 📍Location: USA

Role Description

The Global Revenue Content team builds the narratives, content, and systems that help sales teams communicate Square and Block’s value to customers. Working across global markets, products, and sales organizations, we develop compelling sales materials—including pitch decks, email templates, one-pagers, and competitive resources—and ensure they are accessible, relevant, and effectively used throughout the sales lifecycle.

As a Revenue Content Governance Manager you will build and manage the systems, processes, and automated workflows that keep critical sales information accurate, current, and accessible. You’ll own our global information governance roadmap, partner with subject-matter experts across the business, and leverage AI and automation to streamline how sales content—including email templates and outreach sequences—is reviewed, updated, approved, and maintained. Working closely with Revenue Content, Information Design, and cross-functional partners, you’ll help create a scalable, intelligent knowledge ecosystem that Sales can trust.

Responsibilities

  • Own the global information governance roadmap, establishing review schedules, maintenance priorities, and scalable processes that ensure sales content and knowledge remain accurate, relevant, and up to date.
  • Design and implement automated governance workflows that streamline content reviews, approval routing, version control, expiration tracking, and archiving, reducing manual effort and improving consistency.
  • Build AI-powered processes to identify outdated, duplicated, or inconsistent information across sales knowledge platforms, helping proactively surface content that requires review or updates.
  • Develop automated review and notification systems that alert content owners and subject-matter experts when information requires validation, approval, or replacement.
  • Oversee governance of sales email content, including approved outreach templates, nurture sequences, competitive emails, and account management communications, ensuring messaging, claims, and product information remain accurate and current.
  • Coordinate cross-functional information reviews, partnering with subject-matter experts across Product Marketing, Product, Competitive Intelligence, Partnerships, Legal, and other teams to validate and maintain critical sales information.
  • Establish clear content ownership and accountability, identifying the appropriate stakeholders responsible for reviewing, approving, and maintaining different types of sales knowledge.
  • Manage governance workflows and timelines, tracking dependencies, review status, approvals, and outstanding updates to ensure information is maintained on schedule.
  • Conduct regular content audits to identify outdated, duplicated, inconsistent, or missing information across sales knowledge platforms and email content libraries.
  • Maintain governance standards across Flockjay, email template repositories, and other knowledge channels, ensuring information follows established taxonomy, metadata, version-control, and publishing requirements.
  • Partner with Enablement Information Design to operationalize information architecture, content organization, and knowledge management standards across global sales teams.
  • Support the governance of competitive and partner integration information, coordinating with the appropriate subject-matter experts to ensure these resources reflect current products, capabilities, and positioning.
  • Develop automated reporting and dashboards that provide visibility into content freshness, review completion, governance compliance, and outstanding risks or gaps.
  • Identify opportunities to integrate AI and automation into existing knowledge management systems, improving the speed, accuracy, and efficiency of information maintenance.
  • Partner with the Global Narrative & AI Lead to develop and test tools that automate repetitive content management tasks and support reliable AI-powered knowledge retrieval.
  • Continuously improve governance processes, using data, feedback, and emerging technologies to reduce duplication, eliminate manual bottlenecks, and scale information management globally.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in content operations, knowledge management, information governance, sales enablement, program management, or a related field.
  • Experience designing and managing automated workflows for content operations, knowledge management, or business processes.
  • Hands-on experience with workflow automation tools, AI-powered platforms, or low-code/no-code solutions.
  • Strong understanding of content governance, including review schedules, approval workflows, version control, metadata, and information lifecycle management.
  • Experience managing knowledge platforms such as Flockjay, Highspot, Seismic, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with sales email templates, outreach sequences, and the systems used to organize and distribute sales communications.
  • Strong project and program management skills, with experience independently managing complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience building dashboards, tracking operational metrics, and using data to identify inefficiencies and improve processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to translate operational challenges into scalable, technology-enabled solutions.
  • Experience partnering with Product Marketing, Product, Competitive Intelligence, Partnerships, Legal, and other subject-matter experts to maintain accurate business information.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to drive accountability and follow-through across cross-functional teams.
  • A systems mindset and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered search, knowledge retrieval, and content management technologies.
  • Experience supporting global teams or managing content across multiple markets, products, or business segments.
