Role Description

Are you fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, or Korean along with English, and looking for an exciting remote career opportunity? We are seeking Remote OPI/VRI Interpreters (Over-the-Phone / Video Remote Interpreting) to provide real-time, on-demand language interpretation services.

In this role, you will bridge communication gaps between English speakers and non-English speakers in various settings, including:

• Customer service
• Healthcare
• Legal
• Business
• Essential services

This is a 100% work-from-home, entry-level position with comprehensive paid training and clear opportunities for long-term career growth.

Qualifications

• Native or bilingual proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, OR Korean paired with advanced English (C1 level minimum).
• No prior interpretation experience required—this is an entry-level position open to candidates with strong language skills!
• Immediate availability to start onboarding.
• Ability to work rotational shifts aligned with PST or EST business hours on a 5 days on / 2 days off schedule.

Requirements

• Facilitate clear, accurate, and impartial consecutive interpretation between English and your designated target language (Mandarin, Cantonese, or Korean) via phone (OPI) or video (VRI).
• Maintain the original tone, context, and meaning of the speaker without summarizing, omitting, or adding information.
• Uphold professional standards, confidentiality (HIPAA/data privacy), and strict ethical guidelines at all times.
• Demonstrate active listening, empathy, and cultural sensitivity during all customer and client interactions.
