Role Description

This role involves analyzing quality and satisfaction outcome trends and serving as the branch resource for questions related to outcomes and improvement consistent with the quality work plan. Responsibilities include:

• Supporting branch and regional offices by providing education and input for local leaders and clinical staff.
• Facilitating training programs to enhance patient care and improve outcomes in line with company goals.
• Designing, planning, organizing, and directing branch education in accordance with current federal and state regulations.
• Ensuring that all clinical staff are adequately trained to provide the highest degree of quality care.

This is a fully remote position; however, you must live in a state where we do business.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing or social work.
• Valid clinical license, per state requirements.
• Valid state driver license in the current state of residence.
• Automobile liability insurance, as required by law.
• Preferred professional certification in Hospice Outcomes and Patient Evaluation (HOPE) for hospice.
• Preferred experience with federal, state, and local laws and regulatory guidelines governing home care operations.
• Preferred experience developing and executing clinical education.
• Oral and written communication skills, fluency in English, and active listening.
• Demonstrated intermediate technology skills, especially in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• In-office attendance is essential for achieving objectives, except for designated full-time remote positions.

Requirements

• Evaluate clinical operational policies and procedures; make recommendations for correction of identified deficiencies.
• Ensure appropriate resources to develop education of clinical employees; recommend updates to the clinical toolkit.
• Support local and regional leadership; analyze areas of opportunity for improvement with outcomes and satisfaction.
• Develop in-services and educational offerings; aid in the education of branch clinical employees.
• Execute education and training related to established procedures and manual content to local clinical staff.
• Perform/facilitate QAPI functions, including collating, interpreting, and acting on data.
• Facilitate performance improvement plans for quality and satisfaction outcome-related deficiencies.
• Attend and participate in QAPI committee activities, as needed.
• Act as a resource to local branches; remain current on industry standards and trends.
• Perform on-site visits; be prepared with objective data.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.
