Role Description

This is a remote position. Permanent Dayshift, Remote/WFH.

JOB DESCRIPTION: AutoCAD Drafter

Client: Custom bespoke joinery services

VA Rate: $10-11AUD per hour

Fulltime, 40 hours per week.

Purpose: The position’s primary responsibility is to create technical drawings to help design floor plans to build real estate or architectural projects. This highly-trained draftsman will work with architects and engineers to design and create 3D computer models of buildings from blueprints or from scratch.

Qualifications

• Must have relevant experience as a Joinery Drafter
• Proficiency in Pytha is a MUST but will consider someone with Solidworks experience
• Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients
• Written and verbal communication skills - needed for communicating with a range of people, both internally and externally
• Team Working skills and a collaborative approach to work
• Decision-making skills
• The ability to multitask and prioritize your workload
• The ability to think strategically
• A flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

Requirements

• Prepare technical drawings using Pytha or Solidworks (3D) software
• Work with engineers and other professionals to produce drawings that meet their specifications
• Write related technical documents such as material lists and cost estimates
• Ensure that all drawings are accurate and meet industry standards
• Maintain a library of standard drawing templates
• Update existing drawings as new information becomes available
