[Hiring] Provider Relations Lead Analyst @The Cigna Group

Role Description

The Provider Relations Lead Analyst is a key member of the National Ancillary Tools and Capabilities Team. This role will provide a variety of operational support functions within the team, focusing on:

• Operational reporting
• Service processes
• Invoicing with a focus on successful delivery of the highest value projects
• Ongoing business process improvements and centralization
• Analysis, root cause identification, and resolution

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing the task of preparing vendor invoices; ensuring a complete, timely, and accurate invoice package is sent to Accounts Payable Team for payment
• Inspecting invoices for deficiencies
• Tracking the status of vendor invoices
• Investigating and resolving billing discrepancies and errors
• Managing escalated vendor invoice issues
• Documenting departmental policies, procedures, and work instructions
• Providing tactical operations support to assigned groups
• Submitting requests to update provider demographics and credentialing in operating systems
• Developing and maintaining controls associated with reporting and operational responsibilities

Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong background in Medicare and Commercial preferred
• Strong knowledge of National Ancillary programs preferred
• Working knowledge of Accountable Relationship Tracker (ART) preferred
• Motivated, proactive self-starter who takes ownership and is results-oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate with all levels
• Experience with invoicing and accounts payable is highly desirable
• Ability to work independently and as a team player
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks/projects and perform work under minimal supervision with exceptional outcomes
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with tight deadlines

Requirements
