Role Description
As Program Leader - Interior Design, Product Design and Visual Design you will be in charge to ensure the development and management of the assigned teaching courses according to the prescribed scientific and quality standards, guaranteeing compliance with IM standards requirements.
- Coordinate the courses in the assigned teaching area
- Take care of the development of the training courses and their quality
- Compile necessary academic documentation
- Supervise academic and scientific results according to IM regulations
- Actively support the Director of Education in achieving educational targets
- Collaborate with the academic department in the construction and design of courses
- Be the contact person for the faculty of the assigned teaching area
- Monitor faculty academic activities for teaching quality standards
- Ensure faculty meets quality requirements laid down at company level
- Be responsible for the scientific development of the CVs of assigned lecturers
- Support the Director of Education in identifying and training new lecturers
- Support students directly in their training and encourage successful completion
- Ensure weekly one-to-one interviews for continuous tutoring and supervision
- Contribute to the student's positive learning experience
- Supervise assigned students in their thesis activities
- Ensure the compilation of the student voice according to set targets
- Actively support in the identification and management of academic projects in collaboration with leading luxury industries
- Ensure full implementation of projects at the academic level through faculty and student involvement
- Be present at moments of promotion of the school (e.g. open days, admission activities)
- Be the contact person for research and development projects entrusted by the Director of Education
- Directly oversee the development of curriculum vitae in accordance with accreditation requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor or a Master Degree from an International University in Design Area is mandatory
- Relevant experience in teaching Design at tertiary level
- Relevant experience with creating educational materials and extracurricular activities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to details, problem solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Strong relationship-building skills to build networks with design industries
