[Hiring] Program Auditor @Accredited Insurance

Role Description

Responsible for the timely execution of risk-based underwriting, claims, and compliance audits in accordance with the annual audit plan and company regulations as well as assisting with other audit matters and projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Determine/review scope of audit in conjunction with audit manager.
• Conduct audit testing of assigned program in established/required timeline to determine program compliance with company policies, procedures, claims and underwriting guidelines.
• Document and communicate findings to audit manager, complete audit checklist(s), and draft comprehensive and complete report of audit findings.
• Engage with other departments as necessary regarding audit findings.
• Stay abreast of underwriting guidelines and regulations as well as claim trends and develop recommendations for audit program as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, SharePoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong ethical standards and an ability to act with integrity and objective judgment.
• Thorough knowledge of regulations and compliance guidelines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to evaluate risk and maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to think critically and analytically, solve problems, and plan and organize activities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively under strict deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to travel domestically approximately 10% annually.

Requirements

• 3-5 years financial experience through accounting/auditing preferred or underwriting and/or claims experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field.

Benefits

• Compensation: $85,000 - $93,000 / year.
• Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time.
