[Hiring] Program Assistant @Children’s National Hospital

Role Description

We seek a research assistant to support program delivery and evaluation for a produce prescription and nutrition education program aimed at families facing food access challenges in Washington, DC’s Wards 7 and 8.

• Assist staff in the daily execution of program tasks and projects.
• Provide administrative support to Program Manager and Program Coordinator.
• Maintain office files and manage financial records.
• Complete purchase and reimbursement requests.
• Assist with fundraising by researching funding prospects and managing logistics for events.
• Assist with special projects related to program goals and mission.

This is a PRN (as needed), non-benefits eligible position. We are seeking a Program Assistant who is able to commit up to 20-30 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• 1 year performing administrative tasks (Required)
• Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency is preferred.

Requirements

• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Access.
• Ability to produce quality reports under tight deadlines.
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a busy clinic environment.
• Web design and desktop publishing skills a plus.
