[Hiring] Professional Services Engineer @Fortinet

Role Description

Fortinet is growing and we are looking to hire Professional Services Engineers to join our team. The dedicated Professional Services consultant is assigned to the end user for the duration of this agreement. He/she will work with the end user to define the specific daily activities.

• Assisting client staff with day to day Fortinet products operation/support
• Development of methods of procedure (MOPs) for migrations, upgrades, and updates
• Development of test plans and testing new features and/or releases
• Verifying configurations and implementing best practices
• Performing interoperability evaluation of devices that interact with Fortinet products
• Training and knowledge transfer to client staff
• Develop and maintain core competency on Fortinet’s product line and technologies
• Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion

Qualifications

• 7+ Years experience in LAN/WAN/Internet consulting, support, and/or administration
• 5+ Years experience with Network Security Products
• 2+ Years experience with Fortinet products
• Experience working as a Professional Services Consultant/Engineer a plus
• Solid understanding of security and networking principles and technologies such as:
• Network Security Infrastructure – Switching, Routing, Load Balancing, WiFi
• Security systems – Firewall, IPS, VPN, Antivirus, AntiSpam, Web Filtering, Application Control
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Outstanding oral communication and presentation skills
• Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• React to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
• Flexible during times of change
• Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments
• Ability to bring projects to successful completion through political sensitivity
• Strong commitment and self-driven individual
• Able to travel as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related work experience
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

• US base salary range for this full-time position is $166,000-$203,000
