Role Description

Completes technical-oriented service tasks of various scopes and supports in planning and managing these tasks.

• Provides specialist technical support to the Global Field Operations teams ensuring that safety and complex customer cases are dealt with quickly and efficiently.
• Proactively monitors the global installed base to identify trends and improvement opportunities to improve system reliability and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Provides specialist Technical Support as the interface to the design and development teams on all new product introductions.
• Supports the production of all product related service technical documentation and communication to Global Field Operations.
• Closes the ‘Quality Feedback Loop’ by working closely with the field teams to ensure that installed base product performance issues are clearly understood.
• Supports the development of data analysis and trending capability working closely with the Data Analytics & Dynamic Maintenance Team.
• Provides specialist technical training when requested.
• Supports change control implementation and defect handling.
• Generates service technical instructions.
• Supports complaint handling & investigation.
• Provides installation and service support and training during new product roll out and ensures that feedback is delivered and incorporated into subsequent releases.
• Reports design, reliability, and maintenance problems.
• Provides specialist technical support to the Installed Base Excellence team.
• Supports the development and specification of special test equipment.
