[Hiring] Procurement Specialist @Super Com

Role Description
This role is the first hire for the Procurement Team at Super.com which will be managing over $20 million of total contract value. This role will have the meaningful opportunity to shape and mold the way procurement takes place at Super.com through implementing process improvements, choosing systems, and managing key internal and external relationships.
This role provides an opportunity to work cross-functionally with leaders across the organization as they make important purchasing decisions that impact our product and operations overall.
- Provide procurement services to the business in a fast, reliable, and empathetic manner.

Ensure procurement process adherence by:
- Actioning requests in a timely manner
- Ensuring employees follow procurement processes properly
- Keeping the process up-to-date and effective
- Maintaining correct workflows

Improve the effectiveness of the procurement function by:
- Soliciting feedback from internal stakeholders
- Identifying areas for improvement
- Running projects to implement improvements (e.g., evaluating and choosing a procurement platform, creating a negotiation playbook, increasing accountability for internal stakeholders)

Manage internal and external relationships to ensure results by:
- Building trust with internal stakeholders
- Negotiating skillfully with vendors
- Communicating the results of the procurement program to department leadership
- Run regular training sessions to ensure internal understanding of procurement processes and be the go-to person for any procurement questions.
- Communicate any changes to the process in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in procurement, or GTM software roles.
- 1+ years of experience collaborating with legal, engineering security, and finance teams.
- Passion for procurement, project management, and relationship management (cross-functional and external).
- Experience with financial modelling in Google Sheets/Excel.
Requirements
- Experience with Ramp (spend management software) is a bonus.
- Previous experience negotiating with external vendors is a bonus.
