[Hiring] Prediction Markets Trader @Wintermute

Role Description

You will be responsible for monitoring and trading prediction markets in real time across Kalshi, Polymarket and other venues; implementing strategies across categories such as sports, upDown markets, elections and weather.

You will be hands-on, improving the whole stack. Predictions is a greenfield project within Wintermute and you will have lots of freedom to build the system you want. You'll have to wear many hats and provide coverage for key events, for example major sports games where market activity is heightened, and can fall on evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong Python skills - 1-3 years of experience coding in Python, through work, study or personal projects.
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated interest in prediction markets - engaged in the space (personal trading, following major developments, contributing to discussions, etc.).
• Owner mentality - focus on the ultimate result - P&L for the company and strategically growing the business and Wintermute partnerships.
• Love problem solving and seeing your products work; willing to do whatever it takes (trading, coding, analyzing data, collaborating).
• Determined, ambitious yet humble, willing to work hard and learn on the way.
• Appreciate meritocracy and being judged by what you deliver.
• Enjoy working in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• This will be a remote position with occasional travel as required to our London and New York offices.
