Role Description

As a Trader on the Trading Solutions team, you have the unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of the trading business at Anchorage Digital. You will be responsible for:

• Facilitating the hedging needs of client flows.
• Ensuring that we provide clients with best-in-class service.
• Managing our risk exposures within the constraints of the company risk appetite.
• Improving the trading offering through tooling and technical investments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as an OTC trader in the cryptocurrency space.
• Demonstrated ability to convert institutional prospects into trading clients.
• Strong client-facing abilities, instilling confidence through excellent white glove service.
• Ability to expertly handle complex trades with a mindset of continuous optimization.
• Deep crypto market microstructure expertise.
• Demonstrates expert knowledge of both electronic and voice trading.
• Comfortable using Python code as needed, with a willingness to develop proficiency.

Requirements

• Perform principal trading exposure management infrastructure and processes.
• Contribute to efforts of increasing automation.
• Closely follow market narratives to contribute perspectives to internal research efforts.
• Help to inform new products and capabilities within the trading business.
• Be available to immediately respond to changing exposures, client questions, and requests.
• Is keenly aware of how Trading fits within the firm’s broader strategy.
• Understands upstream and downstream implications of process changes.
• Ensures that knowledge is shared among stakeholder teams.
• Stay up to date with the underlying themes driving market prices and liquidity.
• Champion the perspective of the Trading Solutions team during cross-department conversations.
• Act as a mentor for more junior members of the team.
