[Hiring] Oracle CPQ Business Analyst @Taylor Corporation

Role Description

Taylor Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Oracle CPQ Business Analyst to drive the implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of Oracle Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ). This role will serve as a strategic bridge between business stakeholders and IT, ensuring scalable, high-quality solutions aligned to enterprise objectives and operational excellence.

Your Responsibilities

• System Knowledge:
  • Analyze and troubleshoot the CPQ functional issues and manage communications to business units as well as vendor if needed.
  • Participate in the quarterly update process, partnering with SMEs to validate functionality and sign off.
  • Input to system roadmap for CPQ design, development and roll-out plans.
  • Work with SMEs within the business to analyze current operational procedures, identify areas for improvement and offer possible solutions.
  • Facilitates the gathering, analysis, prioritization, and complexity categorization of business requirements.
  • Document and model ‘as is’ and ‘future state’ business processes. Analyze and optimize requirements to match guiding principles of future state.
  • Effectively and efficiently organize and facilitate interviews, site visits and workshops to identify fit/gap details.
  • Communicate and translate requirements effectively between business areas and IT.
  • Act as a liaison between business end users and IT development teams.
  • Responsible for collaborating with the business to create detailed use cases, process flows, prototyping, test cases and test scenarios to implement quality solutions.
  • Documenting requirements, developing design documentations, engaging in Integration and Extension reviews and testing.
• Requirement Gathering/Continuous Improvement:
  • Work with SME’s within the business to analyze current operational procedures, identify areas for improvement and offer possible solutions.
  • Facilitates the gathering, analysis, prioritization, and complexity categorization of business requirements.
  • Document and model ‘as is’ and ‘future state’ business processes. Analyze and optimize requirements to match guiding principles of future state.
  • Effectively and efficiently organize and facilitate interviews and workshops.
  • Communicate and translate requirements effectively between business areas and IT.
  • Reviews technology capabilities and workflows to determine if program and system changes are possible.
  • Assist with preparation of time and cost estimates for completing project.
  • Assist with ROI analysis based on solution.
  • Act as a liaison between business end users and IT development teams. Consultant on analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance to ensure optimal operational performance.
  • Responsible for collaborating with the business to create detailed use cases, process flows, prototyping, test cases and test scenarios to implement quality solutions.
• Testing:
  • Participate and lead testing activities, providing input into test plans, writing test scripts and test cases.
  • Facilitate and direct testing defect tracking and reporting as needed.
  • Responsible for managing, creating and executing test cases and scenarios.
  • Lead the quarterly update testing and facilitate updates to all BU.
• Support:
  • Support the SMEs through training of rollouts or new changes.
  • Support for Help Desk issues resolution.
  • Support error resolution process for integrations and workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree – Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
• 5+ years of process improvement experience; especially experience that leverages technology.
• Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining Oracle CPQ.
• Strong understanding of data integration workflows and dependencies between systems.
• Innovative and detail oriented.
• Change agent, willing to challenge the status quo.
• Knowledgeable in designing and constructing business processes and their links to technology.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Good planning and organizing skills.
• Good project management skills.

Requirements

• The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
