Role Description
Join us as a part-time tutor and play a vital role in helping students build skills and confidence. This is a remote, flexible opportunity to earn supplemental income while positively impacting student learning outcomes.
- Support K–12 students in math, reading, or both
- Use pre-designed curriculum while personalizing lessons
- Help unlock each learner’s potential and transform education into a fun, engaging experience
Qualifications
- U.S.-based tutors with consistent availability during weekdays
- Experience supporting K–12 learners in reading, math, or both
- Passion for empowering students and improving academic achievement
- Willingness to undergo a background check and fingerprinting (covered by Littera)
Requirements
- A consistent weekly schedule
- A quiet, distraction-free space for tutoring
- A desktop or laptop with Chrome, high-speed internet, and a headset
- Comfort using virtual tools and online learning platforms
Benefits
- 100% virtual tutoring in the United States
- Flexible hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM EST (no weekends)
- Choose subjects: Reading, Math, ELL
- Compensation: $22.50 per hour for English/ELL/Reading and Math sessions
- $18/hour for trainings
- Up to 25 hours/week based on availability and student demand
- No lesson planning required
- Small group sessions: 1:1 to 1:3 student ratios
- Paid training, background check & fingerprinting
- Ongoing coaching and dedicated manager
