Role Description
Embark on a fulfilling journey with Littera Education by joining our part-time remote tutoring team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support students as they enhance their math, reading, or both skills—all from the convenient setting of your own home.
- Support students in enhancing their math and reading skills
- Enjoy the flexibility of remote work
- Schedule tutoring sessions that meet our school client needs
Qualifications
- Dedicated tutors located in the U.S.
- Enthusiastic tutors specializing in reading and math (or both)
- Relevant experience empowering K-12 learners
Requirements
- Consistent weekly availability and a schedule at the exact times each day
- Essential equipment: a desktop or laptop (Chrome browser) with a reliable high-speed internet connection, a headset with a microphone, and a quiet tutoring space
- Proficiency in utilizing online virtual tools and technology
Benefits
- Fully remote position based in the U.S.
- Flexible scheduling options between Monday and Friday (no weekends), from 8 AM to 7:00 PM EST
- Compensation of $22.50 per hour for English/ELL/Reading and Math sessions
- Paid training at $18 per hour
- Lesson plans provided—no lesson planning required
- Small group sessions in a 1:1-1:3 setting using the Littera Virtual platform
- Paid background check and fingerprinting covered by Littera
