Role Description
The School of Counseling at Divine Mercy University (DMU) invites applications for an online adjunct faculty position in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program.

Qualifications
- A doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision from a CACREP-accredited institution
- Be Licensed or License-eligible in the state of residence
- Possess clinical, supervision, and teaching skills
- Demonstrate a commitment to counseling professional identity and development
- Exemplify a commitment to diverse worldviews and faiths while upholding the Catholic Christian vision of the person
Requirements
- Current curriculum vitae
- Cover letter of interest that addresses the applicant’s compatibility with teaching and supervising in accord with the DMU mission
- A list of references from three higher education professionals
- Official transcripts for all post-secondary education (unofficial transcripts should be submitted through the applicant portal and official transcripts requested and mailed to Divine Mercy University, Attention: SOC Faculty Recruitment, 45154 Underwood Lane, Sterling, VA 20166; or email to cmhc@divinemercy.edu)
Notes for International Applicants:
- Applicants whose primary language is other than English must provide proficiency in both written and spoken English appropriate for masters-level teaching in the United States of America
- Applicants holding degrees earned at an institution outside the United States of America must demonstrate post-secondary education that is equivalent to a U.S. doctoral degree in counseling supervision. It is the applicant’s responsibility to have all official transcripts submitted from each university translated into English
