[Hiring] Noise Project Manager @Merjent

Role Description

Merjent, Inc. (Merjent) has an exciting opportunity for a Noise Project Manager with demonstrated success performing and managing noise consulting services. The successful candidate will manage and/or assist with:

• Completing noise surveys
• Ambient and project noise analyses
• Mitigation design
• Noise modeling
• Noise compliance assessments for local, state, and federal regulations

This position requires technical expertise in noise analysis and mitigation design. The candidate must also have experience with:

• Completing pre-project, post-project, and construction noise surveys
• Noise modeling
• Writing reports

This is a full-time benefits eligible opportunity that can be based anywhere in the US. The anticipated annual salary for this position is between $125,900 and $172,500 annually, depending upon qualifications and experience. This position is also bonus eligible.

This position will require occasional travel based on project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in physics, engineering, environmental science, applied mathematics or a related field
• At least 5+ years of experience in noise modeling/analysis
• Demonstrated experience in technical writing, including preparation of clear and accurate documentation
• Experience supporting and developing proposals, including content creation and coordination
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret government regulations, technical procedures, construction drawings, and industrial processes
• Ability to effectively manage technical work by others, including junior staff
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
• Proficiency with CadnaA or similar noise modeling software
• Highly effective multi-tasker
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong team-player and team builder
• Ability to work in both office and field environments
