[Hiring] Node Support Engineer @GetBlock

Role Description

We're looking for a Technical Support / Node Support Engineer to join a small, strong team. You'll work hands-on with customer nodes and platform infrastructure:

• Troubleshooting real technical cases
• Helping users find solutions
• Keeping services stable
• Investigating complex incidents together with the SRE team

Your work will directly impact the reliability of a platform used daily by thousands of developers worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Handle technical tickets from the customer support team: diagnose issues, resolve them independently, and escalate complex cases to the SRE team.
• Administer existing nodes: version upgrades, resource allocation, full resyncs when needed, configuration tuning and optimization.
• Prepare and write configurations for launching new nodes.
• Provision and decommission nodes for customers.
• Monitor service health: node sync status, version currency, server and overall infrastructure state.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills: the ability to explain technical issues clearly, analyze problems, and propose solutions.
• Understanding of how web applications work and how to interact with them via APIs.
• Hands-on Linux experience: terminal work, remote access via SSH, resource monitoring (CPU, RAM, disk space).
• Experience with Linux system processes and logs.
• Knowledge of Bash, Python, and JavaScript.
• Experience with orchestration systems (Nomad or Kubernetes).
• Understanding of version control systems (GitLab, GitHub).
• Experience with monitoring systems (Zabbix, Grafana).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Git, Docker, Ansible.
• Knowledge of Node.js and the HashiCorp ecosystem.
• Experience with Prometheus.
• Experience with API clients (Postman / Insomnia).

Schedule

• Shift schedule 2/2 (two days on, two days off), 12-hour shifts: night or day shifts.
