Role Description

Do you live and breathe the NBA, know your favorite team inside and out, and know how to create video content that makes sports fans stop scrolling? The Locked On Podcast Network is hiring NBA team-specific content creators for a high-volume digital video product built for modern basketball fans.

This role is designed for modern sports creators — people who understand basketball, know how NBA fans talk, can deliver strong takes with personality, and have the production skills and on-camera presence to create compelling content every day.

• One highly produced short-form video focused on the NBA team you are applying to cover, demonstrating your ability to produce polished social content using elements such as:
  • Images
  • Video clips
  • Graphics
  • Captions
  • Transitions
  • Creative editing
• One green-screen-style short-form video reacting to an NBA team-specific:
  • Tweet or social-media post
  • Breaking-news story
  • Trade rumor
  • Player quote
  • Injury update
  • Ranking or list
  • Article or report
  • Statistical trend
  • Roster or coaching development
• Additional work: Include links to any existing TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, podcast, or other content that demonstrates your ability to cover basketball and connect with sports fans.
• Applications without team-specific video demos may not be considered.

Daily Content Responsibilities

• Create and produce four short-form vertical videos every day.
• Length: Approximately 90 seconds to 2 minutes.
• Content will be distributed across:
  • TikTok
  • Instagram
  • YouTube Shorts
  • Facebook
• Produce two approximately 5- to 6-minute team-specific shows each day, distributed through:
  • YouTube
  • Audio podcast platforms through a dedicated RSS feed

Key Responsibilities

• Produce four short-form videos per day.
• Produce two 5- to 6-minute shows per day.
• React quickly to breaking NBA news.
• Develop strong, interesting angles rather than simply repeating headlines.
• Produce visually engaging video using captions, graphics, images, clips, transitions, green-screen effects, and other creative tools.
• Record professional-quality video and audio.
• Edit and produce your own content.
• Publish and promote content consistently across digital and social platforms.
• Interact with fans and help develop an engaged team-specific community.
• Follow the team year-round — regular season, playoffs, draft, free agency, Summer League, training camp, and offseason.
• Consistently identify topics capable of generating conversation and engagement.
