Role Description

Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. The position is for a Music Production Expert - Arabic.

• Evaluate AI-generated music for musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production/mix quality.
• Label songs by genre, structure, instruments, vocals, and other musical characteristics.
• Review AI-generated lyrics and vocals against reference material for quality and accuracy.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to enhance the quality of AI-generated music.

Qualifications

• Must-Have:
• Native or near-native proficiency in Arabic.
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions in English.
• 2+ years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer.
• Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening.
• Preferred:
• Formal training in music performance, theory, or composition.
• Credited or commercially released production, engineering, or mixing work.
• Broad familiarity with contemporary Arabic genres, sub-genres, and artists.

• Compensation: $17–$34/hour
• Location: Remote
• Duration: Up to 6 months
• Commitment: 20+ hours/week
