  • Master’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or a closely related quantitative field.
  • Proven expertise in advanced programming, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools (e.g., Python, R, Stata, SPSS, KoboToolbox, Tableau).
  • Hands-on experience working with, maintaining, or integrating standard Health Information Systems (HIS) such as DHIS2.
  • Demonstrated track record of managing external research partners, field teams, and collaborative stakeholder relationships.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in British English, with a proven ability to write for both technical audiences and donor institutions.

Requirements

  • Lead the design and integration of Theories of Change, strategic monitoring frameworks, and work plans during early-stage program development and donor proposal drafting.
  • Formulate robust, high-quality performance indicators, impact metrics, and target baselines that align with organizational objectives.
  • Adapt data quality assurance and evaluation approaches dynamically in response to shifting funding landscapes, program objectives, and field realities.
  • Oversee the end-to-end collection, cleaning, categorization, and analysis of quantitative and qualitative datasets.
  • Partner directly with our Data Analytics team to manipulate platform databases, extract operational insights, and optimize standard Health Information Systems (such as DHIS2).
  • Select, maintain, and supervise appropriate data platforms and digital collection technologies (e.g., KoboToolbox, Tableau) to ensure seamless data pipelines.
  • Lead quality assurance partner selections, designing and delivering collaborative training sessions and initial field supervision.
  • Conduct regular Data Quality Audits (DQAs) alongside Program Managers to ensure complete integrity across reported metrics.
  • Provide hands-on technical troubleshooting and on-site guidance when unusual field execution or data quality challenges emerge.
  • Transform complex analytical findings into accessible, engaging reports, case studies, and publications for internal teams, partners, and external donors.
  • Train and mentor colleagues across Tiko on how to leverage data to optimize their daily work and build programs designed for reliable data capture.
  • Drive open knowledge-sharing across the organization, ensuring key learnings and best practices are easily accessible to all teams.
