Role Description
Join our Math Team! Cambium Assessment is a pioneer in statewide online assessments. We integrate cutting-edge technology with content expertise to develop standardized assessments for kindergarten through high school students. We are currently looking for a Test Developer II, with experience in mathematics content and test development, to join our math team. The Test Developer II will be a key member of the team.
- Use state item specifications to write effective items for different projects
- Independently conduct preliminary and content reviews
- Run educator content review meetings, rubric validation meetings, range finding meetings, data review meetings, and standard setting meetings
- Write blueprints and translate them into item pool development plans
- Manage math item pool development for a project
- Independently communicate with state clients
- May serve as a Math Content Lead for a project or a Team Lead for an internal team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field + 5-8 years’ experience in math assessment or math education-related fields
- Master’s degree + 3-6 years’ experience in math assessment or math education-related fields
- Excellent knowledge and experience with the U.S. Education and Education Assessment
- Data-based skills and attention to detail
- Ability to identify problems and conceptualize solutions
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Skilled at collaboration
Requirements
- Required travel for this position ranges from 1 week to 6 weeks per year for 2-6 days at a time
