Role Description
We are seeking a talented Market Research Analyst with a strong product focus. In this role, you will evaluate emerging and declining market trends, analyze product performance, and provide actionable insights to identify growth opportunities.
- Identify market size, trends, growth patterns, and potential opportunities
- Analyze industry data and reports to understand overall market dynamics
- Benchmark products against competitors by examining features, monetization models, and positioning
- Monitor competitor strategies and market movements to identify differentiation opportunities
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing research findings
- Provide actionable recommendations for product development and marketing campaigns
- Plan and manage multiple research projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market research methodologies and technologies
Qualifications
- Proven experience in market research within the gaming/mobile industry or a background in game development companies
- Familiarity with gaming trends, player demographics, and digital entertainment markets
- Strong analytical skills to interpret quantitative data and qualitative insights specific to gaming consumer behavior
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively with creative teams, product managers, and executives
- Proficiency with data analytics tools and methodologies (e.g., SQL, Python, Excel, SensorTower or other specialized market research software)
Requirements
- Skills in benchmarking games, analyzing competitor strategies, and understanding monetization models
- Ability to critically assess how mechanics drive player engagement, immersion, and retention
