Role Description

The primary role of a Maintenance Technician involves maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting building systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation. This includes:

• Performing routine inspections, preventive tasks, and emergency fixes for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical issues.
• Documenting all work to prevent downtime and uphold operational standards.
• Using hand/power tools, diagnosing faults, and replacing parts.
• Specializing in areas like production machinery or facilities upkeep, including tunnels and vacuum lots.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with hand/power tools, diagnostics, and repair of various systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing).
• Strong ability to identify issues and find effective solutions.
• Attention to detail for thorough inspections and accurate repairs.
• Capable of physical tasks required for maintenance work.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with teams and documenting work.
• Often requires a high school diploma/GED, with relevant certifications or degrees beneficial.
