[Hiring] Maintenance Coordinator @Somewhere

Role Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to manage maintenance requests, schedule and dispatch technicians and vendors, and keep homeowners, residents, and property managers informed from start to finish.

• This individual will be the main point of contact for maintenance requests, triaging each issue, booking jobs in Jobber, coordinating technicians and vendors, and following up to ensure work is completed correctly and on time.
• They will also keep work orders updated in the anchor client's property management systems and support quoting, invoicing, and job records.
• Excellent English and a clear, natural accent are essential as this person speaks directly with homeowners.
• The ideal candidate is organized, calm under pressure, and confident on the phone, making every caller feel like they're talking to a local, professional team, not a call center.

Qualifications

• Excellent spoken and written English, clear and natural accent.
• 2–5 years in maintenance coordination, property management, or field service dispatch.
• Hands-on experience with Jobber (required).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Basic understanding of common home maintenance issues (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, appliance repairs).
• Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated remote workspace with professional headset.

Requirements

• Receive maintenance requests, gather details/photos, triage by priority/emergencies, and create accurate work orders.
• Schedule and dispatch technicians/vendors in Jobber, build efficient schedules, coordinate access, and adjust quickly for delays/emergencies.
• Serve as main point of contact, confirm appointments, send updates, communicate warmly and professionally, and handle concerns calmly.
• Maintain Jobber and property management systems (AppFolio, Entrata) with current job notes, statuses, and organized records.
• Prepare quotes/estimates in Jobber, send invoices, coordinate with outside vendors, and conduct post-job follow-ups.
