YDay - INFO ORIGIN INC is hiring a remote Mainframe Batch / Production Control Analyst. πΈ Salary: usd 30 - 35 per hour πLocation: USA
Role Description
The Mainframe Batch / Production Control Analyst is responsible for scheduling and managing mainframe and distributed batch jobs using BMC Control-M/Enterprise Manager (EM) and maintaining job calendars.
- Monitor AJF batch workloads, identify and resolve common ABENDs using JCL, and troubleshoot job issues using TSO/ISPF.
- Analyze alerts/shout messages, assess severity, follow escalation procedures, and ensure SLA compliance.
- Document incidents and tasks in ServiceNow and communicate issues clearly to support teams and management.
- Utilize monitoring tools such as Nagios, IP Monitor, and Tivoli to identify server problems.
Qualifications
- 2β5 years of experience in a relevant field.
