Role Description

As a Logistics Specialist at RXO, you will be responsible for providing logistics support, including:

• Maintaining customer profile information and entering loads from customer tenders
• Updating account managers on problem loads and what actions have been taken, updating receivers and customers on the status of loads
• Monitoring daily pick-ups and deliveries; verifying that loads have arrived on time and in good condition
• Taking check calls from drivers, ensuring that loads will deliver on time; validating all load data prior to marking loads delivered, for accounting purposes
• Investigating product overages, shortages, damages, and completing appropriate documentation
• Scheduling and rescheduling delivery appointments for all loads; accepting or declining loads based on direction from account managers
• Providing detailed directions and instructions to properly route drivers

Qualifications

• 1 year of logistics experience
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• General knowledge of the transportation industry (preferred)
• Experience writing routine reports and correspondence (preferred)
• The ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form (preferred)
