[Hiring] Live Stream Moderator @Flexscale

Role Description

We’re looking for a reliable and proactive Live Stream Moderator who can independently manage a fast-moving live chat environment. You’re comfortable monitoring multiple conversations at once, responding quickly and professionally, and making judgment calls without needing constant supervision.

You have strong written English skills, pay close attention to detail, and can follow specific brand language and communication guidelines consistently. You’re also comfortable stepping in when conversations become inappropriate or disruptive while maintaining a positive sense of community.

What You’ll Do

• Monitor and moderate comments throughout live shoppable shows
• Respond to viewer questions with accurate and relevant information
• Follow Revive-specific language, tone, and communication guidelines
• Pin important or relevant comments during the live show
• Mute or block disrespectful, inappropriate, or disruptive viewers when necessary
• Keep the comment section organized, positive, and engaging
• Foster a welcoming sense of community among viewers
• Use good judgment when handling questions, concerns, or inappropriate comments in real time
• Relay relevant viewer feedback, questions, or issues to the Live Stream Producer
• Flag questions or concerns that require additional attention
• Provide useful observations and information to the production team after each show
• Ensure important information from the live chat is communicated accurately and promptly
• Manage moderation responsibilities independently during live shows
• Stay focused and responsive throughout the full duration of each assigned show
• Make real-time decisions while following established guidelines
• Adapt to different show topics, audiences, and levels of viewer activity
• Maintain professionalism and consistency without direct supervision

Schedule

• This is a part-time, hourly position.
• Moderators will be scheduled based on the client’s weekly live show schedule and will be needed for the full duration of each assigned show.
• Typical show schedules include:
• 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM PST
• 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM PST
• Candidates must be comfortable working schedules that fall within PST and EST time zones.

• Strong written English communication skills
• Ability to read and understand English quickly and accurately
• Ability to follow brand-specific language and communication guidelines
• Comfortable working independently without direct supervision
• Strong attention to detail and good judgment
• Able to respond quickly in a fast-paced, real-time environment
• Comfortable handling difficult, disrespectful, or inappropriate viewers professionally
• Reliable and able to commit to assigned live show schedules
• Previous experience in live stream moderation, social media moderation, customer support, community management, or a similar role is a plus
