Role Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Link 16 Specialist to join our team. As a Link 16 Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting and optimizing tactical data link systems.
- Design, implement, and maintain Link 16 tactical data link systems
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex Link 16 network issues
- Develop and update Link 16 message sets and network designs
- Provide technical expertise and support for Link 16 operations and exercises
- Stay current with advancements in tactical data link technologies and military communication protocols
- Prepare detailed technical documentation and reports
- Participate in project planning and execution related to Link 16 implementations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience with C and C++
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Link 16 systems or similar encrypted communication protocols
- Proficiency in Link 16 tactical data link systems and military communication protocols
- Cryptographic key management and secure authentication mechanisms
- Strong knowledge of network-centric warfare concepts
- Strong background in cybersecurity, network security, or embedded systems security
- Experience with tactical data link software and hardware
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong analytical and detail-oriented approach to work
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to travel for on-site support and training as needed
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances
- An Upper-Intermediate level of German
- An Upper-Intermediate level of English
