[Hiring] Licensing Specialist @Evolution

Role Description

Under the direction of the Regulatory Compliance Manager, the Licensing Specialist position is responsible for auditing, tracking, and analyzing initial and renewal license submissions with various gaming authorities in the US.

• Heavy data analysis in the oversight and tracking of initial and renewal for gaming employee license applications and approvals for various gaming jurisdictions.
• Effectively communicate and provide a high degree of support to cross-functional teams including but not limited to Human Resources, Operations, and Compliance departments as it relates to the statuses of employee licensing.
• Monitor and maintain license issuance and ensure licensing compliance.
• Maintain, monitor, and update licensing/compliance procedures in all jurisdictions and communicate jurisdictional requirements changes/updates of regulations to other team members within the compliance department and management.
• Manage database and other means of tracking for initial and renewal occupational license issuance.
• Responsible for generating routine status reports for review and analysis.
• Organize frequent meetings with internal and external stakeholders including gaming authorities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experienced in a compliance role supporting licensing; previous work in a casino or supplier environment preferred.
• Experience working with gaming regulators.
• 3 to 5 years’ experience with a gaming company or experience in audit/occupational licensing field.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage processes and workflows through multiple departments and locations.
• Ability to work remotely and onsite.
• Ability to multi-task, monitor and meet regulatory deadlines, ensuring accuracy while managing internal licensing modules.
• Must have excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently but within a team environment and be accountable for work and work product.
• Occasional travel to remote offices within the US.
• Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Excel and Access.
• Data analysis, reporting, and tracking experience.
• Auditing and documentation skills.
