About The Role
The ideal Learning & Enablement Manager will have 4+ years of experience in learning and sales enablement, ideally in the insurance or sports insurance segment. This role will report to the V.P. of Strategy & Implementation and is available to work remotely or hybrid near one of our regional employee hubs (Minneapolis, MN or Dallas, TX), unless approved otherwise. Players Health is a remote-first distributed workforce. Travel may be required for team collaboration, training, and development. The Learning & Enablement Manager role has a compensation range of $80,000 - $115,000, depending on skills and experience.

Responsibilities (are inclusive of but not limited to):
- Sales Training & Enablement: Develop and deliver structured sales training programs, ensuring consistency in messaging, process, and execution.
- Onboarding & Development: Oversee onboarding process for Go-to-market roles and beyond, ensuring new hires are well-equipped with sales, service, systems, processes, and product knowledge.
- Licensing & Compliance: Partner with the compliance team to manage licensing requirements, ensuring all relevant (sales, service, account management) roles are properly credentialed at all times.
- Learning Labs: Lead and organize regular Learning Lab sessions where subject matter experts and leaders deliver in-depth training to enhance employee skills and knowledge, including collaborating with carrier partners to coordinate product training sessions for brokers
- Sales Academy: Design and implement a comprehensive Sales & Service Academy that offers scalable, self-paced learning opportunities. Ensure the academy provides a variety of resources, including online courses, workshops, and interactive modules.
- Go-to-Market Support: Collaborate with sales, service, and operations to develop role-specific training and ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Carrier & Product Knowledge Training: Coordinate carrier training sessions to keep the sales team updated on products and compliance requirements.
- Measurement & Continuous Improvement: Define and track key training metrics, ensuring continuous improvement based on business needs and feedback.
- Learning Platform Development: Lead the evaluation, creation, and maintenance of a robust learning management system (LMS). Ensure the platform is user-friendly, scalable, and capable of hosting a variety of learning materials and formats.
- Content Integration: Integrate various types of content, including videos, quizzes, sales role playing and interactive modules, to create a comprehensive and engaging learning experience
- Design & Build: Create a structured L&D framework that aligns with company objectives and core values, covering onboarding, company culture, systems, role-specific training, processes, product knowledge, and professional development.
- Skill Gap & Competency Gap Analysis: Partnering business stakeholders to conduct thorough analyses to identify where operations are falling short. This involves evaluating current processes and pinpointing areas that need improvement through training. Perform competency gap analyses to determine the skills and knowledge that employees need to develop.
- Reporting & Metrics: Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of learning and development (L&D) initiatives that provide insights into employee progress, program effectiveness, and overall impact on the organization.
- Resource Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses to determine whether to develop training resources in-house or outsource them to vendors, and what to prioritize to stay within budget. Consider factors such as cost, quality, and time to ensure the best use of organizational resources.

Minimum Skills & Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, or Enablement.
- Proven ability to design, implement, and scale training programs in a high-growth company.
- Experience in instructional design, facilitation, and adult learning principles.
- Strong background in building training materials, including e-learning, job aids, and facilitator guides.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and BOA (Bring Others Along), ability to influence without authority
- Knowledge of LMS platforms, e-learning tools, and blended learning approaches.
- Ability to track and analyze training effectiveness using data-driven insights.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience leading training sessions.
- Experience working cross-functionally with business leaders, SMEs, and external partners.
- Strong emotional intelligence skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

Desired Characteristics:
- Although not required, a bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field is a plus.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment
- Demonstrated experience and/or ability to influence without authority
- Demonstrated ability to build connections and rapport cross-departmentally
- Participant/involvement in or strong understanding of the youth/amateur sports landscape.
