Role Description
This role involves developing and delivering training on business processes including systems and applications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with your team and stakeholders via virtual technologies.
- Work in partnership with stakeholders to identify training requirements based on department and company goals and target dates.
- Apply instructional design models and adult learning theory to curriculum development.
- Provide engaging virtual facilitation experiences to meet diverse learning needs.
- Update and maintain all training and reference materials.
- Evaluate the impact of training programs to ensure objectives are being met.
- Demonstrate proficiency in written and verbal communication both in and outside of the virtual classroom to communicate ideas and collaborate with stakeholders and various levels of leadership.
Qualifications
- Relevant post-secondary degree (e.g., education, adult education, instructional design, etc.) or 3+ years of training experience, including development and facilitation.
- Preference will be given to those with an adult learning certificate from an accredited institution or other relevant post-secondary training and work experience.
- Knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles.
- Ability to learn business applications from both operational and technical perspectives.
- Ability to work well independently within a virtual team.
- Strong research and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Established track record built on exhibiting initiative, result orientation, and a drive to succeed.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with above average proficiency in verbal and written communication.
