Role Description
Lead Instructors at Correlation One are responsible for delivering high-quality, live, virtual instruction and partnering with company personnel to drive exceptional learning outcomes. This role involves preparing and leading virtual workshop sessions for a large global enterprise in the local language (Japanese or Korean), collaborating with operations personnel, and contributing to the overall success of the program.
- One workshop for the Japan office
- One workshop for the Korea office
- Workshop is a 2-hour interactive session
- Topics include:
- Building Trust & Psychological Safety
- Strengthening Team Connection
- Leading by Example
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in teaching or facilitating leadership development programs
- Experience teaching content focused on building trust & psychological safety or strengthening team connection
- Strong command of the English language, both oral and written
- Strong command of the Japanese or Korean language
- Strong understanding of the Japanese or Korean culture & the cultural norms that relate to the topics of the workshop
- Be located anywhere that is compatible with the time zones of the workshop
- Comfortable and excited to work in a dynamic start-up environment with a lean team
- Comfortable working remotely, independently, and self-motivated to succeed
Requirements
- Prepare and lead a virtual workshop (date to be determined)
- Deliver instruction on key concepts related to fostering a positive culture and building trust
- Collaborate closely with Correlation One operations personnel to ensure smooth workshop delivery
- Support Learning Designer in translating the curriculum for the workshop from English to Japanese or Korean and ensure the concepts are considering cultural norms

- Professionalism: Interact professionally with learners, Correlation One staff, additional contractors, and guest speakers, maintaining a high level of courtesy and respect.
- Workshop Preparation: Diligently and adequately prepare for the workshop to ensure the delivery of high-quality content.
- Dynamic Online Presence: Exhibit an energy, pacing, and ability to make complex topics accessible and maintain strong learner engagement.
- Ownership of Delivery: Adjust the pace of the workshop to meet the needs of diverse learners while also maintaining responsibility for timely delivery of the prepared content.
- Responsiveness and Empathy: Be highly responsive and empathetic to learners, providing thoughtful answers and assistance throughout the workshop.
- Timely Communication: Maintain extra communicative contact with Correlation One personnel and be quick to respond.
- Positive Attitude: Foster a healthy learning environment by maintaining a positive attitude and promoting a culture of learning.
- Course Improvement: Contribute to course improvement by providing thoughtful and transparent feedback to the Correlation One team.
