[Hiring] Lead Business Analyst @Florida Cancer Specialists

Role Description

The Lead Business Analyst provides strategic business analysis services to business partners. The focus of this position is to work closely with the business to gain in-depth understanding of organization business strategy, processes, services, roadmap, and the context in which the business operates. This role will be key to understanding the documenting capabilities needed to address business challenges.

The LBA is responsible for reviewing assigned business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial, and technological risks. Responsibilities will include:

• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Leading small to mid-size projects.
• Assisting other project managers on larger, more complex projects related to operational business functions.
• Mentoring other Business Analysts in the BI team.
• Supporting Data Governance and Reference data tasks.
• Documenting data quality or identified system issues with technical solutions.

The LBA must be equipped with communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to assist other business analysts and business professionals in improving the systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, computer science, engineering, accounting, finance, management information systems, or another related field (preferred).
• In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience is required or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Professional healthcare data related experience within clinical oncology (preferred).

Requirements

• 6+ years in active healthcare big-data integration experience with multiple heterogeneous data sources.
• Experience with data cleansing and reference/master data management on an enterprise data warehouse.
• 6 years of SQL report writing with BI or statistical analysis (preferred).
