[Hiring] Language Access Program Manager @State of Washington

Role Description

Join the Washington State Office of Equity as the Language Access Program Manager. This role is focused on leading transformative language access work and removing barriers for all Washingtonians, ensuring they can fully participate in state services, employment, and programs.

• Lead statewide systems change for language justice and equity.
• Own the project management of enterprise-wide language access initiatives.
• Serve as the Office of Equity’s language access coordinator.
• Act as the subject matter expert for language access, providing consultation and guidance.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management leading complex, cross-sector initiatives.
• Experience developing and managing language access programs.
• Experience providing consultation and technical assistance to government agencies.
• Experience assessing language needs and implementing language access plans.
• Experience building relationships with diverse non-English language preferred communities.
• Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience leading organizational change using a language access, equity, and justice framework.
• Knowledge of historical and systemic inequities impacting marginalized communities.
