Role Description
Your role CORPAY is currently looking to hire a KYC Compliance Analyst within our Corpay division. This position falls under our Corpay Cross Border line of business and is located in Madrid/Rome/London. You will report directly to the EMEA KYC Compliance Manager.
As a KYC Compliance Analyst, you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment. CORPAY will set you up for success by providing:
- Assigned workspace in [location] office/full, home office set up
- Company-issued equipment + remote access
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct CDD and EDD reviews for the onboarding of corporate and private clients in the EMEA region, ensuring compliance with AML and regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Perform periodic and event-driven KYC reviews for existing clients, assessing any changes in risk profiles and account management.
- Assess and validate KYC documentation, identifying potential risks and ensuring accuracy before account approval.
- Support the team and business with client outreach in different languages as needed.
- Analyze complex business structures, including NGOs, special purpose vehicles, foundations, and investment funds, to determine ownership transparency and potential risks.
- Proactively escalate any findings that may pose a reputational or compliance risk to senior management with clear recommendations as to how to safeguard the company.
- Support process improvements by contributing to the development of internal policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Ensure all work adheres to established SLAs by meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards in KYC reviews.
Qualifications
- University degree preferred in law field.
- 2+ years experiences in Financial Crime Compliance/KYC onboarding and periodic review of corporate and personal accounts with clear understanding of AML/CTF regulations, requirements, and best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to liaise with other departments.
- Experience working alongside C-suite executives and global teams.
- Ability to identify trends and inconsistencies, including interpreting alerts, assessing risk scores and entity types and knowledge of commonly known high risk industries, red flags, typologies, and applicable EDD (Enhanced Due Diligence) is an asset.
- Strong writing, research, and investigation skills; capability to document relevant information clearly, structured, and comprehensively.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and oral); any other language, such as French or Portuguese is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of the team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
