[Hiring] Junior Revenue Manager @Smartness

Role Description

As a Junior Revenue Manager at Smartness, you'll join our Revenue Management team and work closely with hotels and hospitality businesses across the Italian and DACH markets. Your role will be to support our clients in making better revenue decisions through data, technology, and the Smartness SaaS platform. You'll learn how revenue management works in practice, develop your analytical skills, and gradually become a trusted point of contact for our customers. This is a great opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who is curious about hospitality, technology, data, and customer consulting.

What Will You Do?

• Customer Support & Consulting: Work closely with hotel clients, understand their needs, answer questions, and support them in getting the most out of the Smartness platform.
• Revenue Analysis: Monitor hotel performance, market trends, pricing, and other relevant KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Revenue Optimization: Support the Revenue Management team in developing and implementing pricing and distribution strategies based on data and market insights.
• Platform Adoption: Help clients understand the Smartness platform, its features, and the best practices to use it effectively. For the Ultra segment, you'll collaborate closely with the dedicated onboarding team.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Analyze performance data and reports, identify potential issues or opportunities, and contribute to actionable recommendations.
• Learning & Development: Build your knowledge of Revenue Management, hospitality technology, hotel distribution, and SaaS through hands-on experience and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Fluent/native-level German is required, as you'll work with clients and stakeholders in the DACH market.
• Professional knowledge of the English language.
• A degree or academic background in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Economics, Business, Management, Data/Analytics, or similar fields. Recent graduates and candidates with limited professional experience are welcome to apply.
• You enjoy working with numbers, data, and KPIs and are curious about understanding what the data is telling you.
• You enjoy interacting with people, listening to their needs, and finding practical solutions.
• You can explain information clearly and adapt your communication to different types of clients.
• You're comfortable learning new digital tools and interested in how technology can improve the way hotels operate.
• You take responsibility for your work, ask questions when needed, and don't wait to be told what to do at every step.
• A genuine interest in hotels, tourism, hospitality, or travel is highly valued.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hotel, hospitality company, OTA, travel company, or similar environment is a plus.
• Internship or university experience related to Revenue Management, Pricing, Distribution, or Data Analysis.
• Familiarity with PMS, RMS, Channel Managers, OTAs, or other hospitality technologies.
• Basic knowledge of Excel or other data analysis tools.
